COLORADO ― The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be performing paving operations along Colorado Highway (CO) 149 just south of the town of Creede. The work will take place for much of next week, along a six mile stretch of CO 149, between mile points 14 – 20.

For four days, starting on Tuesday, Oct. 17 motorists may encounter intermittent lane closures and brief traffic stops of 15-20 minutes. Paving operations are expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 20.

The traveling public is urged to obey signage and speed reductions through the work zone. Motorists should also be aware of flaggers, maintenance workers and heavy equipment on and along the roadway.
