CREEDE – The public is invited to join the Creede Arts Council (CAC) for its exhibition of the National Small Print Show. It is the 23rd anniversary of the National Small Print Show, a juried art show of hand-pulled prints created by artists from across the country and Canada. This year, esteemed printmaker Theresa Haberkorn from Boulder judged the prints.

The CAC is proud to announce the award winners. “Fantail Palm” by Mimi Hegler of Ashton, MD, won first place. “Forest Murmurs” by Dan Welden of Sag Harbor, NY, was awarded second place. “Early Light” by Ginnie Madsen of Laramie, Wyo., won third place. Two Honorable Mentioned prints were also chosen to receive awards – “Morgan” by Janet Badger of Houston, Texas, and “Overview: The Meeting” by Rosemary Depler Cohen of Oregon City, Ore.

The CAC will be hosting an in-person show, opening at the Creede Repertory Theatre on May 25 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The prints will remain on display in the Theatre until July 31. An online print auction-sale through www.32auctions.com will begin on May 28 and continue until July 31.
