Willow Creek Journal seeks submissions from writers and artists

CREEDE— The Creede Arts Council is encouraging all area painters, photographers, poets, and writers to submit their work for possible inclusion into the 2019 Willow Creek Journal. Writers, artists, and photographers have a chance to display their work in a high quality, locally published literary and artistic journal. The Creede Arts Council’s mission is to promote the arts and humanities in our community.
If you have visited or live in Creede, Mineral County or the San Luis Valley we welcome your submission. Pieces with a connection to the area, the mountains or Colorado will also qualify although a person with a personal connection need not only submit work related to these subjects. Varied and diverse subject matter is encouraged, art and writing in a variety of genres and perspectives is welcome from anyone.
Up to three pieces of original work may be submitted by students and adults. Works may include original prose, poetry, paintings, drawings, etchings, and photographs. Information about submitting your work is available at www.creedeartscouncil.com. Submission deadline is March 15, 2019.
If you have any questions or need more information on the Willow Creek Journal, please contact Creede Arts Council at [email protected] or 719-658-0312.
