WCRC hosts seed planting

CREEDE—Come get your hands dirty with Willow Creek Reclamation Committee. The WCRC, in partnership with the Headwaters Alliance, is hosting a seed and willow planting event on the Willow Creek Floodplain on Monday, Oct. 22. Please join in for a morning of community stewardship as the group furthers the ecological restoration on this site.
Meet at the Collaborative (201 N. La Garita Ave.) at 10 a.m. Materials will be provided, but please wear sturdy shoes and clothing that can get dirty.
The Willow Creek Reclamation Committee is celebrating over 20 years of community-led restoration; all ages are welcome to help continue in doing this amazing work.
The Headwaters Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating a sustainable environmental and economic future for the Rio Grande Headwaters through community engagement, restoration, education and innovation.
