CREEDE— The Mountain Shootout (MSO) juried exhibit features photographs by regional artists. This year the Creede Arts Council received many outstanding entries which were judged by Creede photographer Bob Seago.
First Place was awarded to Carolyn Keller of Monte Vista for “Driving with the Top Down.” Second Place was awarded to Creede summer resident Jimmy Collins for “Cumbres & Toltec RR.” Alamosa resident Dennis House was awarded third place for “Weathered Memories”. Honorable mentions were awarded to Sophia Collins, Debbie Fimple and Kathy Killip.
The MSO exhibit will run from June 29 to Sept. 16 at the Creede Visitors Center. The public is invited to the opening reception of the show on June 29 at 5 p.m. The public is invited to vote for their favorite photograph during the run of the show which will decide who will win the 2019 People’s Choice Award.
