CREEDE-None of the candidates for Mineral County Commissioner faced challengers in the June 2020 primary race. Mineral County Commissioner District 2 Democrat John Lawley received 185 votes and Republican Jesse Albright received 177. In District 3, Ramona Weber, Republican County Commissioner in District 3 received 185 votes.

In other races, the unofficial results for Mineral County only-not their entire respective districts- include John Hickenlooper defeating Andrew Romanoff in the Democratic Senate Primary 142 to 80. Republican Incumbent Cory Gardner received 197 votes in Mineral County and Hickenlooper will challenge him in the November 2020 general election.  Diane Mitsch Bush received 118 votes over Democrat James Iacino’s 82 in the CD3 Democratic Primary, with Republican Incumbent Scott Tipton receiving 126 votes to challenger Lauren Boebert’s 87.  In the House District 62 Democrat Primary, Democrat Incumbent Donald Valdez received 106 votes over challenger Matthew Martinez’s 90 and on the Republican side, Logan Taggart received 124 votes to Steven Rodriguez’s 53. Alonzo Payne, Democrat running for District Attorney of Judicial District 12, received 90 votes while Robert Willett received 99.
