YUMA, Ariz.— Jennifer Blair Hooper, 67, was called home on April 30, 2018 in Yuma, Ariz. surrounded by her loved ones.
Jennifer was born May 13, 1950 in Yuma to Chile and Ferne Blair. Jennifer married her loving husband Mike Hooper in May of 1977.
Jennifer was an instructional aid in the special education department at the Yuma School District for 26 years. She loved each of the children she taught over the years. She also loved spending time at her cabin in Creede and trout fishing. For many years she volunteered with the Creede/Mineral Arts and Recreation, painting faces at the summer carnivals, running games at the Halloween party and teaching in the summer art camp.
Jennifer is survived by her husband Mike Hooper, children Donna Netzel and Scott Hooper, in-laws David and Eloise Hooper and many nieces and nephews.
