While in Missouri they gave birth to their daughter Sandra Lee and their son Robert Ray Jr. They then moved to Ohio, where their third son Steven Wayne was born.

After their children graduated high school in Monte Vista they moved to Florida then back to the Colorado Springs/Pueblo area and were self-employed in retail sales.
Bob passed away in October of 1989 and Flo continued on in sales until retiring and moving back to the Valley in 2000.
