Creede Youth Group appreciates Elks help

Creede Youth Group members enjoyed a trip to Elitch Gardens Theme Park earlier this year with the help of the Creede Elks Lodge.

CREEDE— On behalf of the Creede Baptist Church and the “Community-Wide Youth Group,” a thank you goes out to the Elks Lodge #506 for helping send the youth group on their annual trip to Elitch Gardens Theme Park in September.
With the help of the Elks they were able to fully sponsor 20 youth in this event with four chaperones. The Elks Lodge gave the youth group a $2,500 grant to help with the two nights lodging, transportation and food.
The youth group was able to enjoy the hotel swimming pool, eating out, Elitch Gardens Theme Park, visit/prayer with JC Banks while he was in a rehab facility, and they visited a huge special church service by Red Rocks Church at the Magness Arena in Denver.
It was a great experience and the kids truly appreciated this opportunity to do these things. Again thank you to the Elks Lodge and especially Henry Hosselkus for helping make this happen.
